you might ask the previous owner. the rectangular chromed cover on the right side (just aft of the carb and aside the battery box) is the box for the toolkit. i would assume that you've opened it up and checked? the cover should be fitted to the top tongue-and-slot first and then swung down to engage the lock. should fit snug (might take a couple tries). my bike didn't have the original toolkit either - i had to put together my own. i use a fork bag to hold my tools - just enough room behind that cover to hold some extra light bulbs and fuse. enjoy the skoot! t..
